2025 Assessments

On August 28, 2025, the Florida Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association (FLAHIGA) Board of Directors approved a Class A assessment of $500. There will not be a Class B assessment for 2025.
The association will send the invoices electronically on September 30, 2025, with a due date of November 7, 2025.

Premiums filed with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation on the NAIC “Life, Health & Annuity Guaranty Association Model Act Assessment Base Reconciliation Exhibit” are used to calculate member company assessment amounts. If you do not file the required exhibit, we use the premium from “Schedule T” or “Exhibit of Premiums and Losses.”

The 2021 – 2023 three-year average assessable premium is:
Life: 11,915,079,453
Allocated Annuity: 27,196,243,199
Health: 28,509,923,608
