Annual Meeting Scheduled
FLAHIGA Annual Meeting for 2016 is to occur January 13,2017 at The Lodge And Club, 607 Ponte Vedra Boulevard, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The meeting will commence at 9:30 a.m. There will be public portions primarily involving financial reporting and administrative matters. The non-public matters will involve insolvency related matters closed to the public by Florida Statute 631.724. Any person desiring a report regarding the non-public matters may make a request to FLAHIGA in writing addressed to: Mary McAnnally, Florida Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association, 3740 Beach Boulevard Suite 201-A, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A copy of pertinent parts of the meeting minutes as requested will be released upon termination of the related delinquency proceeding. Minutes of the public matters may also be similarly requested and will be available within ten (10) days after the meeting.
Prior to the Annual Meeting, a Workshop will be held to discuss some of the subjects to be taken up at the Annual Meeting. The location is the same. The date of the Workshop is January 12,2017 starting at 9:30 AM. Minutes of the public matters may also be similarly requested and will be available within ten (10) days after the Workshop.
